　　DECK 舵槳是將舵槳和柴油機組裝串聯成的完整的船用推進機組。它包括柴油機和舵槳等。具有工作可靠，結構緊湊等優(yōu)點，柴油機通過彈性聯軸節(jié)、離合器和萬向軸把動力傳遞給舵槳，在機座上安裝有液壓系統(tǒng)、電控箱、日用燃油箱等部件。由于DECK舵槳自成一體，在裝船前機組內的各部件和系統(tǒng)均連接安裝、調試完畢。公共機座在船上就位固定以后，只需要連接少量管路和電纜，船舶就具有航行和操縱能力。整臺舵槳直接安裝甲板機座上，舵槳安裝于機架的尾端。
　　舵槳可以借助于機械的或液壓的調節(jié)裝置在垂直方向提升和下降，通過調整螺旋槳吃水深度，使船在吃水深度變化時都能獲得最大的推力。
　　當舵槳需要維修時，舵槳可以借助于機械或液壓的裝置把舵槳翹出水面。
